Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive WordPress websites.
- Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
- Optimize website performance, speed, and mobile responsiveness.
- Ensure website security, backups, and overall stability.
- Upload and format blog posts, landing pages, and other website content, ensuring proper use of headings, metadata, alt tags, and internal linking.
- Perform regular backups and monitor website uptime using hosting environments and CDN tools.
- Troubleshoot and fix website issues, including broken links and errors.
- Collaborate with SEO, content creators, and marketing teams.
- Stay updated with the latest WordPress updates and web technologies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer.
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on Agency WordPress experience with referenceable projects.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and WordPress CMS.
- Experience with website performance optimization techniques such as caching, minification, and CDN usage.
- Understanding of website accessibility and UX/UI principles.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve website issues efficiently.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in a fast-paced agency environment.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with WordPress page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Kadence.
- Knowledge of eCommerce platforms such as WooCommerce.
- Basic knowledge of web hosting, cPanel, and domain management.
- Experience working in an SEO company, with a strong understanding of on-page SEO, technical SEO, and best practices for optimizing WordPress websites for search engines.
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics.
- Ability to implement structured data, XML sitemaps, and metadata optimization within WordPress websites.
- Experience collaborating with SEO teams to enhance website visibility and rankings.
